To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful.

sense. That is why there are so few great dancers.
Dance is the hidden language of the soul.
Freedom to a dancer means discipline. That is what technique is for --
liberation.
To dance is to give oneself up to the rhythms of all life.
The audiences ears hear the music, and their eyes see you being that music.
Dance is the music made visible. You ARE the music!
The Gods have meant
To dance is to share - to share is to teach.
I also had a will that let me eliminate everything that stood in the way of
my becoming the best dancer I could be. By a gradual process...I had invested
